Seurakuntaa rakentamassa

Tässä blogissa seurataan kirkon uudelleenrakennusprojektia Itä-Siperian Karatusan kuntakeskukseen. Vuonna 1892 rakennettu luterilainen kirkko Niznaja Bulankan kylässä on kokenut kovia Neuvostoliiton aikana. Suunnitelmana on siirtää kirkkorakennus nykyiseen kuntakeskukseen ja uudelleenrakentaa se palvelemaan seurakuntaa. Suokoon Jumala, että näidenkin hirsiseinien sisällä saisi vielä kaikua evankeliumin ääni kirkkaana. Tule mukaan rukoilemaan ja auttamaan!

Nyt viimemmäksi poistimme 20 kappaletta komeita följäreitä jotka ovat jäykistäneet seinärakenteen. Ennen sitä kuitenkin jouduimme tekemään väliaikaistukia ettei seinä missään tapauksessa romahda itsestään. Itse tulin eilen illalla yhdeksän aikaa kotiin juhlimaan Saiman synttäreitä ja pitämään tämän päivän nuorten iltaa. Aatsa jäi kylän miesten kanssa työmaalle laskemaan hirsiä naruilla alas. Huomenna jatketaan yhdessä. t Joose

    Good that you keep this documentation in the net so people near and far who have or have had a connection with Bulanka can have a touch - at least virtual - with the project.

    Sad that the historic building of the largest Latvian village in Siberia has no use in its original place. Wish after the restoration it will again be the house for the Word of God an a Christian congregation.

    Hey! Thank you for your comments Andris! I don't know how understable the google translate works, but maybe indeed pictures talk more and better.

    It's very interesting to know that also in Latvia people are following the project. Yes, it's sad that the church has no more use in Nizni Bulanke, but we are praying that it can serve again in Karusa and that's also way how we can save this historic building.

    "Google Translator" works just fine. If you open the page in "Google Chrome", it automatically offers you to transleate the entire text in (sort of) Latvian.

    So I know that you among other things had to forbid workers drinking on the church's roof top!
